October 2008 NEWS FLASH: Billy Costa of NECN's "TV Diner" will join the late night festivities at Home Sweet Home and will auction off a guest critic spot on his popular TV show. Noted Sommelier Augusto Gabriel will give wine tasting tips in the VIP room. Augusto specializes in Port and Dessert Wine and teaches classes on the subject at the Boston Center for Adult Education.
September 2008 CHAF presents "Home Sweet Home", a tasting of delectable desserts & Port Wines where celebrity chefs compete for Best Dessert. The hot reggae band "Toussaint and the China Band" will be providing the tunes for dancing, and raffles and a silent auction will ensue. Cambridge Savings Bank is proud to be lead sponsor for the evening. Spring Reception honors Kathe McKenna. REALTOR® Magazine recognizes CHAF Board Chair David Pap! March 2008 CAMBRIDGE HOUSING ASSISTANCE FUND ANNOUNCES LEADERSHIP TRANSITION
The Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund (CHAF) has announced that David Pap, who co-founded the organization in 1999 and has been its volunteer Executive Director for the entire nine years of its operation, will become CHAF’s Chairman of the Board. CHAF welcomed its new Executive Director, Kevin Sheehan, to the organization as of December 1st.

February 2007 Three Cambridge Whole Foods Markets Donate $11,674.70 to CHAF
"Cambridge Housing Assistance Fund (CHAF) volunteers were thrilled to receive a big check for $11,674.70 from Whole Foods Market, a great way to kick off the year's fundraising efforts. This donation was the result of a unique partnership. The three Cambridge Whole Foods Market stores had pledged to donate 5% of total sales made on January 9th.
